This file contains a letter from Chief James Martin Smith (Maqualahgulees) of We Wai Kai (Cape Mudge) First Nation to Eric D. Sismey. The main focus of the letter appears to be an oral history about Jonny Moon, a chief of the Walitsma at H'Kusam (Salmon River), the relationship between the authors family and Moon's, and a story about the erection and design of the Moon family's house pole.
